9 February 2017   MEDIA PROGRAM    Media access to the Riga Castle, the square in front of Riga St. Peter’s Church, and in Riga St. Peter’s Church shall be organised only and solely based on specialised accreditation cards issued by the Chancery of the President of Latvia. The media representatives with permanent accreditation issued by the Chancery of the President of Latvia also require the specialised accreditation!

 

To get accreditation, please send the following information on every person to be accredited before 12 a.m. on February 6 to the Press Service of the Chancery of the President of Latvia by e-mail: prese@president.lv:

6. Editor's name, surname, and phone number

 

At 11:45 a.m. The quadripartite meeting of President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis, President of Federal Republic of Germany Joachim Gauck, President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite, and President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid: photo and video opportunity at the beginning of the meeting.

MEDIA: arrival at the Riga Castle (garden gate), security check until 11:15 a.m.

 

Before the press statements, the media may stay in the Conference Hall of the Press Service.

 

At 2 p.m. PRESS STATEMENTS of President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis, President of Federal Republic of Germany Joachim Gauck, President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite, and President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid (in Latvian, German, and English with simultaneous interpreting)

MEDIA: arrival at the Riga Castle (garden gate), security check until 1:30 p.m.  

 

At 3 p.m. The visit of President of Federal Republic of Germany Joachim Gauck in Latvia. President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis and President of Federal Republic of Germany Joachim Gauck participate in the opening ceremony of the Reformation Square and the memorial plaque on the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
