“I encourage everyone to listen, distinguish, and support establishment of an interactive space for children’s training at RC Vaivari, because it is one of the great and good deeds that we can do all together,” said Iveta Vējone today while taking part at the event dedicated to the International Day of Disabled Persons at RC Vaivari.

The First Lady of Latvia acknowledged that employees of RC Vaivari worked sincerely so that rehabilitation process would be as efficient as possible and that the intended establishment of the interactive space was another required step to achieve this goal.

Iveta Vējone believes that the International Day of Disabled Persons should update the issue of the deeper inclusion of the disabled people into the public life.

“We wish to see you more and more in everyday life, events, and labour market. We wish you to integrate into the society, but it should be based on great effort,” said Iveta Vējone. She found that good health care, rehabilitation, and friendly attitude of the people were essential preconditions for this objective to be achieved.
