While being ill, I also follow the latest developments in the country. I am delighted that the formation of the new government is approaching its final stage.
I am grateful to the Chairman of the Saeima Ināra Mūrniece for fulfilling my presidential duties during my illness. While being in the hospital, I shall gradually resume fulfilment of the duties of the President of Latvia.
