During the meeting, Boris and Inara Teterev outlined their work and current plans while expanding cultural richness of Latvia and solving social issues. They stressed that existence of the cultural richness enabled Latvia to become an attractive tourism destination as well, thus contributing to economic growth.
During the conversation while speaking about the events of the Centenary of Latvia, Boris and Inara Teterev confirmed that they were ready with ideas and practical work to help that event creating as much benefits for Latvia as possible. The President of Latvia as the patron of the Centenary of Latvia thanked them for their current contribution in different projects and readiness to think together and work together for the benefit of the Centenary of Latvia.
Collocutors also discussed the contribution made by the Boris and Inara Teterev Foundation so far to reduce the problem of refugees, by already providing support for projects that improved the quality of life of the African population. The President of Latvia affirmed that he also considered that the EU and other international organizations should work as much as possible so that people should not leave their homeland in search of opportunities to live somewhere else.
